When I first posted about heading to the Dominican Republic for my first destination wedding, I was mostly just running on pure excitement. But being there on the resort and beaches with Chris, Emma, and their 70+ guest crew was something else entirely—it was more than I ever could have dreamed of for a first trip like this.
The week wasn't just about the backdrops; it was about the energy of the people. From the shenanigans on in the pools during the week, to belly laughs during the toasts at dinners leading up to the special day, to the late-night dance floor chaos, every moment felt like a genuine celebration of Chris and emma. Seeing everyone truly let go and enjoy the tropical sun reminded me why I love capturing these stories in the first place.
It was an incredible experience, and honestly, I’m already looking forward to the next opportunity to get back out there and do it all again.
