Nate + Katie : Two Become One

'Twas a windy Saturday in Vineland when Katie and Nate were to be Married. A nice guest house on at Vineland Estates Winery is where I met up with Katie and the girls getting ready for the big day. Everyone was relaxed and enjoying the morning.

I really had fun, while having a bit of a challenge with shooting this wedding with having to deal with the strong wind. Luckily we had a few spots indoors to get some stuff and some brave people willing to pretend we were in Cuba when we were outdoors.

Congratulations Nate and Katie. You guys clearly are in love with eachother and I wish a lifetime of happiness to you both!

Christmas Photo Giveaway Winner!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Thanks to all who entered this contest! Whether you nominated a deserving family, shared the photo, commented on my status's, it all helped. A BIG thank you to you!

There were many many nominations, with some very good stories of some very deserving families, which made it much harder to choose a winner than I expected. After going through all the nominees, I have decided to award the family photo shoot to....

Mark and Julie Stahle, congratulations! They were nominated by Cory and Renee McArther, and here is their story:

Hi Jer,
Cory and I would like to nominate friends of ours. Their names are Mark and Julie Stahle and they have 3 children (Savannah 5, Josie 3, and Liam 1). When Julie was pregnant with their second child, they were told that the baby had a genetic disorder, Trisomy 13, and that even if the pregnancy went to term, their baby girl would most likely not live more than a few hours after birth. Although they were advised to abort the pregnancy, Mark and Julie put their trust in the Lord and decided to give their baby girl a chance at life. Although they were very aware that the hours following her birth could possibly be some of the hardest of their lives, they welcomed Josie into the world and watched God work a wonderful miracle, and today Josie is a vibrant, sweet, sassy little 3 year old! Mark and Julie are Josie’s parents, but they are so much more than that - they are her cheerleaders and her advocates day in and day out. Cory and I can’t recall seeing any professional family photos in their home or posted online, so we thought it would be really special for them to win this family photo session. Thanks for the opportunity to put their names forward! We’re sure whoever wins will love it!

Congratulations again to Mark and Julie! We will be in contact soon!

Also, a big congratulations and a thank you to Connie Groves who shared my contest. She wins a family mini-shoot for her efforts!

Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoy this time with your loved ones!

Luke 2:11 "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."

Ryan and Casey: You're the One!

Meet Casey and Ryan. A couple who really likes to go for walks in the woods on really really cold days in November. BRRR!

These love birds will be married next summer and they couldn't be happier. They asked me if they could do their engagement shoot in the forest across the road from Casey's mom's place.
Absolutely.
We trekked out there, and found a bendy tree, a board walk, a rejuvenated section of trees, and just some sweet spots to takes some flicks.

Congratulations guys on your engagement. All the best for the future together!

Now grab a coat, ear muffs and 2 pairs of mitts and come for a walk with us. Its cold out there.
